Lloyds and Visa Settle $750K in USDC in Cross-Border Pilot, Landing Within an Hour Even on Weekends
Lloyds Banking Group and Visa completed a seven-day live pilot settling $750,000 of payment obligations in USDC. Lloyds bought USDC through Archax, the UK-regulated exchange, booked the volume through its Corporate Markets branch in Jersey, and transferred it to Visa in the US, with each flow reaching Visa in under an hour including over the weekend — the first stablecoin settlement trial between Visa and a major UK banking group.

XRP treasury firm Evernorth has won shareholder approval for its business combination with Nasdaq-listed SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp. II.
