Injective Partners with BDACS to Bring KRW1 into RWA Settlement, Easing Dollar Dependence
Injective has signed a memorandum of understanding with BDACS, a licensed South Korean digital-asset custodian, to bring KRW1 — a stablecoin backed 1:1 by the Korean won — into its RWA ecosystem as the exclusive won-denominated settlement asset. KRW1’s reserves are 100% held in escrow at Woori Bank and verified in real time through banking APIs instead of quarterly attestations. Initial minting and redemption would be limited to approved institutional partners, pending South Korean regulatory approval.
- KRW1’s onchain supply stands at roughly 13.67 million; after a proof-of-concept on Avalanche in September 2025, it has expanded to Ethereum and BNB Chain via LayerZero’s OFT standard
- South Korea’s five largest exchanges have recorded 18 consecutive months of net stablecoin outflows, about $10.4 billion total, driven by the absence of onchain won infrastructure
- Injective has processed over $7.5 billion in RWA volume and issued more than $1 billion in tokenized assets; POSCO International and LG CNS trade receivables were previously deployed on the network
- South Korea’s Digital Asset Basic Act is expected to be finalized by the end of 2026, which will shape the eventual framework for won stablecoins and institutional minting
Market Impact
Dollar stablecoins account for over 98% of total stablecoin market cap; a won settlement path gives institutions a way to hedge FX exposure onchain
Structural Trend
Non-dollar settlement currencies are entering RWA ecosystems, making regional settlement the next competitive dimension
Regulatory Variable
With the Basic Act still pending, the deal proceeds as an MOU and institutional scale-up remains tied to the regulatory timetable

BUIDL Expands to Nine Chains as Ondo Hits $3B to Top Tokenized-Treasury Platforms
BlackRock’s BUIDL is now deployed across nine public blockchains, with roughly four-fifths of its $2.17 billion supply sitting off Ethereum: Solana leads at $872 million, followed by Avalanche at $482 million and Ethereum at about $452 million across two share classes, with Aptos fourth at $157 million. Meanwhile, Ondo crossed the $3 billion platform milestone on October 13, with USDY at $2.328 billion edging past BUIDL’s $2.2 billion — though Circle’s USYC remains the largest single fund at roughly $2.38 billion.
- The tokenized US Treasury market is valued between $14.9 billion and $15.5 billion in mid-October, with Ondo representing about a fifth of the sector
- BUIDL’s nine-chain footprint: Solana / Avalanche / Ethereum / Aptos / BNB Chain / Optimism / Tempo / Polygon / Arbitrum, with Tempo added in July
- BUIDL remains concentrated among institutions: only 103 holders, a $5 million minimum, and about $300 million in monthly transfers — in contrast to USDY’s retail reach
- The structural gap persists: tokenized Treasuries see only 0.4%-2% usage inside DeFi, with most assets parked for yield rather than deployed as collateral
Market Impact
Platform-level versus single-fund rankings reveal that competition in tokenized Treasuries has moved to product portfolios
Structural Trend
Multichain issuance is becoming the norm, with supply distributed toward where settlement and liquidity infrastructure live
Growth Space
With DeFi usage under 2%, collateralization and lending integrations remain the largest value pool for tokenized Treasuries

Microsoft, Alphabet and Goldman Sachs Join Opposition as OKXICE Tokenized-Stock Objections Hit 16
OKXICE TSV updated its public notice on October 19: Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Caterpillar, McDonald’s and Western Digital have newly objected, bringing the disclosed count to 16 after nine companies were named on October 15. Under the SEC’s innovation exemption, a venue cannot make a tokenized NMS stock available if the issuer objects in writing within the 30-day window. Fifteen companies from the original 63-ticker roster have now objected, plus Cerebras from outside the list.
- New objectors: Microsoft, Alphabet, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, Caterpillar, McDonald’s, Western Digital; earlier ones: Broadcom, Verizon, UnitedHealth, CoreWeave, AppLovin, Applied Digital, Rocket Lab, Applied Optoelectronics
- Platform mechanics: a Tokenizer buys real shares through an SEC-registered broker-dealer and issues one token per share; trading runs 24/7 in Uniswap v4 permissioned pools on X Layer against USDC/USDG/USDT, with no leverage or lending, restricted to wallets holding a soulbound token after identity checks
- 47 companies from the original 62-company, 63-ticker list show no objection so far, including Nvidia, Tesla, Apple, Amazon, Coinbase and JPMorgan
- The notice discloses no reasons or arrival dates for the objections; the venue states it is not registered with the SEC for these activities and is not subject to Regulation NMS, and has not given a launch date
Market Impact
Tier-one issuers walking out puts a cold shower on the first live test of the innovation exemption; the issuer-consent mechanism is now the biggest variable for launch
Structural Trend
Objections climbed from 9 to 16 in four days, and the density of opposition inside the objection window will leave visible gaps in the venue’s roster
Regulatory Variable
SIFMA has urged the SEC to clarify affirmative consent and a universal opt-out via FAQ or amended order

Tokenized Tesla and SpaceX Shares Reach $364.5M as Musk Assets Lead Stock Tokens
Tokenized shares of Tesla and SpaceX carry a combined onchain market cap of $364.5 million, according to Token Terminal data — more than an eighth of the entire tokenized-stocks sector, valued at about $2.66 billion. The largest single token is SPCXb at $138.7 million, followed by TSLAx at $67.9 million. SpaceX’s tokenized versions have drawn steady trading heat since its June IPO at roughly a $75 billion valuation, and over 140,000 wallets now hold these tokens, a 7.9-fold increase since January.
- SpaceX tokens total $244.3 million across seven issuers, while Tesla tokens total $130.8 million across six — fragmentation thins liquidity for any single version
- Tokenized stocks are generally backed 1:1 by shares held in custody, with dividends and voting rights passed along in select cases, and are mostly offered to eligible non-US investors
- Tokenized equities plug into DeFi lending and collateral protocols — an added utility ordinary brokerage shares do not have
- Fragmentation risks persist: multiple wrappers of the same ticker widen spreads and weaken pricing predictability for smaller versions
Market Impact
Marquee-name tokenization validates retail demand for fractional access, though 1:1 backing and rights transmission vary by product
Structural Trend
DeFi composability is becoming the core added value of tokenized stocks versus traditional shares, expanding onchain use cases
Risk Note
Parallel issuers fragment liquidity, so holders must vet custody and rights terms product by product
